Pedalling for a purpose
Between 17th and 20th September, our Associate Director, Russell Sheehan, swapped being out on site to being on the saddle and joined the Dalata Hotel Group team as part of their “Dalata’s Difference Makers” initiative.
Across four days and four countries, Russell and the Dalata team cycled over 500km across four countries in four days from London to Amsterdam to raise vital funds in support of Leukaemia Care (Britain), Marie Keating Foundation (Ireland)and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (Northern Ireland). The journey began in London, winding through the English countryside en route to the ferry in Dover. After crossing the Channel, the team resumed their ride from Calais, France making their way to Bruges in Belgium. They pedalled across Belgium to Breda in the Netherlands, before setting off for the final leg to Amsterdam.
