CField are seeking a motivated and qualified IT Administrator to join our existing IT team. CField is committed to investing in supporting the professional development of all employees, and the role allows for excellent career progression. 


SUMMARY OF ROLE: 

Working with the IT Manager, you will help maintain the IT network and infrastructure across our UK office and construction sites. The role is London-based, and the successful candidate will be required to be full time in our Tower Bridge offices. There is also scope to assist with our sites in the greater London area as required.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Helping to configure and install IT solutions, such as document management systems, construction-specific software, and maintain databases
  • Reviewing and updating IT documentation
  • Providing recommendations on how to improve or upgrade existing software
  • Aiding in asset tracking, tagging, and destruction
  • Helping with Office 365 administration:

        - Creating new email addresses and passwords

        - Aiding employees with password reset and account queries

        - Teams meeting issues

        - Outlook and general email queries

  • Collection of IT usage statistics
  • Working with the wider team, including Accounts, Commercial, and Delivery, to investigate and propose IT solutions
  • Helping with site provisioning; including network setup, broadband connectivity, and meeting room installation
  • Assisting with New Starter setups, including laptop imaging, mobile phone initialisation, and SIM allocations.
  • Ad-hoc IT maintenance as required


KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Currently possess a QAA Level 6 or higher in any IT-related field, such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Information Technology.

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, including the suite of 365 applications. Experience with Azure Active Directory would be beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Windows 10 operating system, with knowledge in Windows 11 beneficial for planned upgrades.
  • IT networking skills including setup of 4G/5G remote networks, and setting up devices on the network. Knowledge in configuring static IP addresses and port-forwarding beneficial, but not essential.
  • Cloud platform experience, including Dropbox and SharePoint. Any experience in AWS administration and Procore would be a bonus.
  • An interest in IT hardware, including repairing and upgrading laptops and phones. The ability to crimp cables or re-image an OS would be beneficial.
  • Experience in video editing and Photoshop would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the construction or engineering industries is not essential, but would be very useful in this role.
  • Any experience flying or directing drone footage would be very beneficial.
