CField are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Limerick. CField is committed to investing in supporting the professional development of all employees, and the role allows for excellent career progression.
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Reporting to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and supervising of all aspects of the project pertaining to engineering. The Site Engineer will work closely with the site personnel to deliver projects to the highest possible standard. They will work to ensure the CField management process and procedures are implemented to make certain of the successful completion of the project on time, on budget and to the highest standards. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
•Setting out engineer’s drawing, site surveys, as-built drawings etc
•Interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
•Liaising and working with subcontractors and all staff across the site
•Planning works efficiently to ensure programme targets are achieved on time and in budget
•Liaising with client’s representatives and Design Team as and when required
•Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with ISO standards
•Ordering and control of materials on site
•Maintaining site records as required
•Managing and supervising service installs particularly Uisce Eireann
•Assisting the QS in the re-measurement of work, daily outputs etc
•Completing any other duties as assigned by line manager
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline
• Strong setting out experience
• Knowledge of Construction Details
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient IT skills, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong communication skills - interpersonal, written and oral
• Ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• Self-motivated to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Full Driving Licence
