Comprehensive decarbonisation and building services upgrade delivered within a fully operational four-star city-centre hotel, enhancing building performance while futureproofing critical services infrastructure.

The project involved the phased refurbishment and upgrade of mechanical, electrical and building fabric elements across 6 nr. occupied floors and at roof level, undertaken while maintaining hotel operations and minimising disruption to guests, staff and day-to-day business activities. 

The scope of works included:

• Installation and upgrade of HVAC infrastructure, roof-mounted plant and associated support structures

• Alterations to existing screening and roof safety systems

• Construction of new service routes and openings

• Suspended ceiling and partition modifications

• Fire stopping, decoration and associated builders’ works

• Extensive M&E coordination including phased service integrations, commissioning activities and enabling works across multiple areas
