This project consisted of a 3846m2 post primary school extension.

CField Construction were appointed as main contractor to complete, test and commission previously commenced but incomplete works.

The single most challenging element of the works was the removal and replacement of 2500m2 of defective aluminium standing seam roof. The challenge was to ensure the finished services below roof level were not affected by the weather, while the works were being carried out. CField, together with their roofing contractor, undertook to progressively remove and replace the roof ensuring ridges, valleys, gutters and facias were progressively reinstated and completed.

There was an extensive testing and commissioning schedule developed for the mechanical and electrical packages as 90% of these works were complete by the previous contractor.

The works were completed on the site of a live school where strict traffic management, student and pedestrian control was paramount.
