Design and build of a residential development comprising 176 nr. apartments across 2 nr. blocks. The project includes one 14 storey building of 98 new homes which sits along the western site boundary by Longford River and one 11 storey building of 78 new homes which runs east to west along New Road. The units comprise 92 nr. private market rent tenure and 84 nr. social rent.
The development has brick featured facades and generous balcony spacing for each unit. It incorporates sympathetic landscaping and improved access to Longford River and Glebeland playing fields for local residents to enjoy. This has increased the site’s biodiversity by 50%. A 70% carbon reduction has been achieved through air source heat pumps, solar panels and energy efficient building materials.
Associated refuse and cycle stores, energy centre, switch rooms and various external amenity works were also included.
New Road Triangle is built on half a hectare of land, owned by the London Borough of Hounslow and previously occupied by Network Rail. The site, which sits between Longford River, New Road and The Station Estate Road, has been transformed into much needed local housing.
